We got back late last night. We did not get to do everything that we had planned on, but did the best we could. On our 3rd day at the fort, Dsil took a spill on her bike. She thought she had pulled a muscle. Well after 2 days and it not getting any better, we convinced her to go to urgent care. She is a former leukemia patient who went through a bone marrow transplant a year ago. Well, she was transferred from there to the hospital. You guessed it, she broke her hip. They then transferred her to another hospital because Celebration didn't have a doctor to do surgery. She finally had surgery on Monday. She convinced the doctor to release her the next day. She recouped in the trailer and on Thursday managed to go the the Magic Kingdom for a few hours with her kids for the first time. We did our best to keep the kids occupied and my brother calm while all this was going on. She will see her doctor here tomorrow.
On the brighter side, we met some of the nicest Diser's on this trip. Starting with Jim and Carol aka FtWildernessGuy. They introduced us to Kungaloosh. MMMMMMM! We visited with them several times and met Mickey the wonder beagle. We also met Carol aka ckelley, PirateJeff, Des1954 aka Debbie the otter spotter, MadFF, Dadof4 and the famous Gatordad. We also spotted, but never connected with Gonzo, LarryJ, TwoWDWfans, Momof5, and Us3 although I think I saw Sonya on her golfcart. We did miss TCD which my DH was very upset about. I heard through the grapevine that you were the second one in the new and improved 800 loop. Lucky you! They are also working on the 2000 loop and the 400 loop now. We did talk to a cable guy working in our loop (1600) and he thought cable would be up and running next week.
Don't get me wrong with all that happened we did have a great trip. You just make the best of what you are dealt. I will post more when my DH tells me how to post pictures, but of course he is sleeping in the recliner. I will say he and Dbil did not want to leave on Friday when they found out the Diser's were getting together. My sister and I heard about that for a while on the way home. Sorry so long, that's it for now.
