Just Back, 4 Resorts 2 Weeks!

Hey guys,

I am just now getting back from a GREAT trip, Stayed first at Port Orleans French quarter, then Contemporary Concierge (12th floor), then Polynesian Lagoon view, AND THEN Port Orleans Riverside (AB) Everything was wonderful, went to two MVMCP, first one on Nov 30th not crowded, second on Dec 7, VERY crowded...crowds are definetely picking up! Was there for the filming of the parade. was A LOT of fun, got our pictures with the Incredibles and saw John Stamos, Hope from hope and faith, some soap stars, lots of other celebs that were in the parade. I met my FIRST DISer at the parks, I spotted the limegreen button, was too shy to go say anything so DH asked and I was right! I will do a full trip report later, but if anyone has any questions Id be more than happy to help!
P.S. I LOVE STITCH, I always have and always will....but its probably not even worth doing the ride...I REALLY wanted to like it, I like every ride in WDW, but MAN this one was bad...not painful bad, but once is enough and never again bad.

How was it staying at a deluxe then staying at a moderate after? I always worried I would feel like I would miss the deluxe, like a downgrade. Did you feel this way?

We are going from Wl to POR AB section in Feb. I too would like to know how you felt with move? We we feel let down? We have stayed at the POR year ago and really liked the resort. We have never stayed at WL. I wanted to stay the whole time at WL but could not get the rate for the whole stay.

We went from the BC to POR in June and I didn't feel let down at all. In fact, one improvement was the food court at POR because BC doesn't have one. I liked both. The rooms are definitely smaller though.

Hi guys!

leota - I LOVED IT!!! I cant say enough good things about the CR, I thought it was extremely clean, its faster to walk to MK than to monorail, 7 minutes (clocked), the concierge were great, they were able to get us in to CRT breakfast, even though it was all booked. Definetely try it, nothing beats falling asleep while watching the castle change colors at nite.



WDW LIFELONGFAN - Stitch was just very boring, it was clearly tamed down to appeal to kids more than Alien Encounter, but they just went overboard...I dont want to give it away but the climax of the ride involves a chili dog, but everyone should ride it themselves and make their own opinion

To everyone else - I LOVED POR this was our second time there, first time was in Magnolia bend, so i requested AB this time and it was GREAT!! You wont feel like you are stepping down or anything, in my opinion the mods do a better job with theming. The ONLY MISTAKE I made was I forgot POP Warner was at POR and they were loud and overbearing for a lil bit but other than that it is a BEAUTIFUL resort, my favorite moderate.
