we stayed one night at RP and the other 6 at a timeshare. So glad that we were in the gates at 7:30 a.m. to see Harry Potter don't know how else we would have seen it! So worth it to stay onsite!! It did breakdown while we were in line then it started working again....Rip Ride Rocket was on and off too!!

my kids are 14 and 11 and they rode almost everything but they did miss wdw a little so we went to Marketplace

ButterBeer frozen wasn't working well so they sent me inside the restaurant pumpkin juice was good too!

Welcome back! What did you think of the Royal Pacific? I personally love it. :)

Glad you enjoyed it. We will be onsite in under two months! I can't wait to try the butterbeer! Whether frozen or not, I will treasure the moment. :cool1:

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

loved Royal Pacific but our room in tower 2 was at the end of the hallway so the walk was very far the hotel was booked and that was the only rooms connecting or we would have waited till 4 still tower 2 was far!

the butterbeer I did try both and the frozen was great but it was also very hot!!

still hard to believe that they had to do stand by passes for HP!

What do you mean by "still hard to believe that they had to do stand by passes for HP!"?

as we were leaving HP it was still roped off and the only way to enter the section was with a stand by pass! I believe it was given at the front gate. It was that crowded on wed and thurs

Crazy as it may seen, it is like that everyday. People line up over in the Jurassic Park area. Early entry people go through Lost Continent to enter. Off site people go and line up in the Jurassic Park area. People are let in as other people leave to keep the occupancy level acceptable. I don't believe that there are any special passes being given out at the front desk -- the tickets are to make sure there is no line jumping. Later on in the day when the crowds have settled down, you can get in both ways.
