Just back 4/28 - 5/3/19

Thanks for posting about your trip! I guess I'm living through you and the other posters. Unfortunately, my husband and I had a trip planned 4/26-5/6, but had to cancel it the Saturday before. He was laid off from his job in December and we were hoping he would be back to work by now. I cried when I called Disney to cancel; we are Disney veterns and were so excited for this vacation! Doesn't sound like you had any rain (or maybe not much)? We also love evenings in the parks -- the later the better! Silver lining is we're already planning a new trip for 4/24-5/4, 2020. Hoping everything on the job front is behind us by then!

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! Hopefully your 2020 trip makes up for missing this one. I've come to terms that I've been spending a bit too much $$ on Disney trips the past year so I'm (trying to?) wait until 2021 for my next trip. Ugh!

Edited to add: had a sprinkle once I think and one afternoon where it rained the literal minute I got to the pool, but it never lasted very long.

We traveled the exact same dates as you and I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought it was hotter than usual for late April/early May. I remember low 80’s and low humidity last year (I actually bought a sweater one night last year) I think it got to 93 on May 3rd and I was over it by then. We were on the dining plan and most of our snacks went to frozen drinks and smoothies

We also did after hours the same night as you and it was the highlight of our trip. Absolutely amazing. This was our last trip as a family of two (baby on the way) and we will remember that event for a long time
