Hi...just back yesterday...stayed 3 nights at the BC and 4 at the poly....had a great time.....no towel animals at either resort...but i didn't mind....we did not receive many of our requests...I did put on my ressie when I made it...but we did get some.....at the BC we paid for waterview...made a request of near lobby and full balcony...we stayed there last year...requested the same and were the fartherest from the lobby we could get and no balcony...we were close to the quiet pool last year..and that was not so bad..staying there 2 times now...i think i would like ground floor near the volleyball court...beach club is so big and spread out that I think that would be convienient...this year we got there at 9:00pm....we were not close to lobby at all...but we did get upgraded to conciere(spelling)...maybe getting in late...there was no other waterview rooms left.....we were excited....but our room was so far away...i would not want this room if I paided for conciere....we did go past the lounge when we went to the elevators....so we did use it a little...I don't think for us the extra cost would pay for what we ate...but the kids did think we were special being on the 5th floor...the first trip i was just OK with BC...I do think the location is growing on me...and the pool was great....it is so big that even with alot of people it is not crowed..
This was our 3d stay at the poly.....we did get our requests the past 2 years....samoa ground floor...facing volcano....this time I did check in at 9:00am.....we were not already put in any room...so i think sometimes they just put you in a room at check in...i did ask about samoa...we did get samoa...2nd floor....no ground or 3d....but we were facing the volcano...so it was good...I do love samoa...we have never been on the 3d floor...I think that would be the best...we love the poly...had a great time...pool was very crowed all times of the day...any questions ask away....amy
