Hi All
Just returned last nite from a 10 day trip to WDW. First stay at OKW and we LOVED IT. the theme, the quiet and the size of the rooms was great. I think the new water slide will be a big plus. Bus transportation was OK but I know when we stay there again we will have a car. And yes we will stay there again, hubby loved it. Spent 6 nites in a two bedroom, building 45. Next time i will request to be closer to the hospitality house and on the golf course.
From there we moved to BWV (1 bedroom) boy did that look small after okw. Our home is BCV which out of the three we've stayed at that is still my favorite, but okw is a very close second. Next time its WLV. Hey noticed they broke up the bus route, Swan, Dolphin and BWV on one stop, Beach Club was a different bus it did make the trip a little shorter.
Had a great time, ate at BOMA's different but good, would go again and also the Japaness Restuarant at EPCOT, it was fun, but pricey and no flavor to the food. would not eat there again. Hubby took me to the Yagthman Steak House, nice, pricey but nothing to make it stand out, nothing special. Also tried Cheif Mickey's, that was fun, got lots of pictures and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Check out the Earl of Sandwich, sandwiches were very good and price was great (2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, 2 coleslaws, 2 sodas = $18.61) almost unheard of in WDW.
Weather was good, hot and actually had 4 days with NO thunderstorms!
Stopped by to see SS, a little disapointed, thought the theme pool and slide would be bigger for such a large resort, also kind of hoping for another sandy bottom.
Did Typhon Lagoon one morning and Disney Quest in the afternoon, both were alot of fun, hubby got a little sick on his rollercoaster. But the boys in I loved it
Another GREAT VACATION!!
Well got to go watch the weather on our way to vaca we dropped DS#1 at UNF in Jacksonville, Figured i'd have to worry about him not studing or being homesick, NOT A HURRICANE. We live in New England we don't do hurricane
