His. We just arrived on Virgin VS75 into Orlando and they lost our Stroller. I am devastated and so is our little boy.

We are staying on site and don't have transport to go and buy a stroller anywhere. Does anyone have any advice? We really haven't got any budget to pay to rent one but we might have to use our kids spending money on it.

Have you spoken to any one about being comped for this? Or the possibility of it being found? I've had luggage lost multiple times and they always find it within a few days and will either hold it for me at the airport or you can pay to ship it. Then again, I've never flown Virgin

How big is your child? They sell the little umbrella wheelchairs at the front of the parks. That may be a better option then renting if your little one is big enough to use one but not too big for it.

I found that it seems the for sell strollers are about 60 bucks. I wonder if you can get the airline to agree to giving you that while they look for your stroller so that you can buy one. I read they also may be at the resort gift shops as well. I've only noticed them for sale at the parks. They seem to be a decent quality umbrella stroller and have the ability to recline.

First, what is the airline saying about the stroller? Did you check it with baggage and have a claim ticket showing that it should be tagged for MCO? My course of action would be based on details I have about where they think the stroller is and when they think they would find it.

Can you uber to target or walmart and buy a $20 umbrella stroller? It's less than renting.

This is what I would do. Go to the Target on 192, and pay $19.99 for an umbrella stroller there. The Uber ride will set you back about $10, so for $30 problem solved. Almost the same price as a one day rental stroller from WDW.

Did you check it or did you take it to the plane and have them stow below? How long has it been since your flight arrived. Sometimes if we check our stroller it is one of the last things they unload. Keeping fingers crossed that they will find it and if not I would just buy one of the umbrellas at the front of the park or even check the gift shop at your hotel. I know there used to be a stroller swap discussion on the boards but I have no idea if that is still going on or not. Sorry you are going thru this but don't let it ruin your Holiday. Make sure you fill out the lost item form and give them the info to contact you at while you are there and who knows maybe by tomorrow it will be at your hotel. You could always tell the person who checks you in at your hotel and who knows maybe they have a stroller there they borrow out sometimes, more magical things have happened so you never know!!!

Thanks everyone. We have reported it to the airline and I am hoping they will be able to locate it and get it out to us but that is being hopeful.

Didn't know they sold them at the parks so that might be an option.

Yes thought of Uber to supermarket but not sure we have time in our schedule because of all the dining reservations.

I must admit I know it's not Disney's fault at all but this has really taken the magic away from our visit.

Well, if you are the kind of person who is "devastated" by the (almost surely temporary) loss of a stroller (an item that can be temporarily replaced easily and cheaply), then there was no chance you were going to be satisfied by your trip anyway. Get yourself together, buy a stroller, and don't drag your son any further into this mindset.

Thanks we took it right up to the gate to board because the little one is only 2 so he was in it. We will mention it when we check in. Thanks

Wow that is kind of harsh.

OP I saw from an earlier thread you are there for 2 weeks. I think either sending 1 adult to uber to target and back for the stroller is your cheapest bet or buy the one that the park has to offer. You may even get lucky and find it at the resort gift shop.

Did you already leave the airport? Since you took the stroller all the way to boarding it may not be lost. Did they give you a claim at gate tag or tell you it would be picked up at the baggage carousel?

That's

That's a bit harsh. It was a very expensive stroller that was bought purposely for this trip as it met our requirements and was not a basic cheap stroller. It also had a step we could add to the back for our 6 year old who I know will hate all the walking so we were just planning on making the trip as enjoyable as possible for them. Sorry for caring about my kids and their enjoyment. Lol

It was a collect from carousel tag on it. We have left now we waited about an hour for it and at first they said there were still items to come that were delayed by the rain but then said everything was there so it was lost.

If it's the airline's fault they should comp you for it. If it was my husband he would go on Amazon and find a Prime 1 day City mini and have it there the next day. Then sell it when we got back for a minor loss.

We may be a bit crazy like that but we can't do cheap strollers.

Did your flight have a connection? If they tagged it at the gate, it was on the plane or they left it at your home airport. Make Virgin responsible for it. It will be held to the same policy as checked bags...there is a $500 limit on replacement value if they never find it and they have to reimburse you. Personally, I would get on Amazon.com and order a new one, pay for one day shipping, and have it delivered to the hotel. Or, as suggested, take an Uber to Target on 192 amd buy a new one. Rent a double stroller for one day if you have to. Going to Target will take an hour, max. Just send ONE person to take care of it and the rest of you stay behind and take the kids to the pool or something.

Oh no. Hopefully they didn't leave it at your departing airport.

I hope your trip gets better. I understand the tightish budget with time and money and the fact it is just a bummer to the start of your trip. I would do as others and try to hold Virgin responsible. Another thought do you have trip insurance or were the airplane tickets purchased on a credit card? If so you may not even need to get Virgin to be responsible but instead can get reimbursed through the credit card (if it has lost baggage coverage) or the trip insurance.

Would it be possible to rent a stroller last minute from the regular providers (Kingdom, Apple, Orlando) in the hopes your stroller is found? If not, can you have one shipped from Amazon and then work with the airline for reimbursement?

We always check the stroller at the gate and pick up at the gate- never the carousel. I wonder if it was at the gate? We get a tag too but it's not for the carousel. Never flew with Virgin though.
