I was watching a YouTube video today and the person was talking about the reason for so many sweet snacks being more attractive fot 'influencers and instagrammer'
It got me wondering if this is the reason the busiest they've ever been despite the dirty great rises in the cost of going. So you can simply post everything about your trip online to basically brag, rather than having a personal vacation to enjoy the magic.
Looking at how many guests below a certain age think its okay to climb where they are not supposed to, to get that photo to post online, as an example. Or video everything on their phone instead of enjoying it without looking through a screen, then walk around checking their phones every couple of minutes I just wonder what their real motive for their vacation is?
I'll be honest, I used to be trying to video all the parades, fireworks etc, but, as I don't belong on social media and I was the only person who would see my photos or videos I realised how much I was missing out on, especially the trip where I got a bit of a selfie bug, then deleting most and realising how much I actually missed seeing. Not mention was better quality videos posted online to enjoy.
Anyway, I just mused all this as I think that is why Disney feels like its changed so much. Trying to avoid the people busy photographing everything to post on their social media accounts. Nice for 5 minutes of attention, but, what have you missed out on for yourself?
