Hi Everyone !

I had this idea over the weekend and it got a weird look from my parents and shot down by my DF, so I figured may be those of you with Disney fanatic families could use it instead.

I always thought I would never do the bouquet toss because I would rather use the time for dancing. BUT, I thought it would be cool to do something different. I think instead of using a toss bouquet, or ruining your own pirate: , you could throw something else, like the Princess Minnie doll that they sell in the parks princess:. It would give some more Disney touch and the lady that catches the Minnie gets a souvenier!!

I don't know, maybe I am a little :earboy2: nutty!!

What about purchasing a toss bouquet so you don't throw your's?

Silk toss bouquets are available at www.fairytaleweddingstore.com or speak with your florist about making a second one.

We're doing an Anniversary dance and giving the longest married couple a bottle of champagne. Family has issues with the whole garter removal and replacement, so we're just throwing the toss bouquet and the garter... whoever gets them, gets them type thing. We're still kind of wondering about even throwing the garter. But, I'm throwing that bouquet! And certainly not mine from the ceremony!!!
xoxo

lol, not sure that would even work with me. I only have 3 single people coming to the wedding!

oooh! That's a cute idea! I think I will still do my bouquet toss, but I was thinking that if lots of little girls are going to your reception, you could do a special princess Minnie toss just for them!

Aww it is a cute idea :)

My florist actually threw in a free bouquet that was a smaller version of my own for the "toss" and even though I had a few single women in the crowd I made all the women come and fight for it as I told them they never knew if they were going to have a vow renewal, right?

That's a fantastic idea! We didn't plan a bouquet toss - and when Disney handed it to me the decision was final as it wighed a ton and could have kiled someone! However we were winding up the best man telling him he was next and the bridesmaid is his girlfriend so we set up a staged toss that she would win - and I just threw her silk bouquet instead!

We got quite a funny photograph out of it:

We did have the bride and groom mickey and minnie for some of our photos but I didn't even think to throw one of those!

I think that is perfect--I wish that I had thought of it!
