do you think it's worth the cost for a quick 3 day cruise the back story is I just lost my best friend full disclosure he was a cat and I thought getting away would help or in the long run make things worse meaning he will still be gone when I get back

But my number one concern is my safety is it safe as long as I only get off at castaway cay

Just a small thought nothing remotely planned

Yes. Losing a pet is hard. If a 3 day cruise would take your mind off it and make you feel better than do it. Yes, you will be safe. Just use common sense. There is plenty to do onboard if you don't want to get off in ports other than Castaway Cay. Happy planning.

The default is late dining. If you want early dining, you need to call DCL to change it. Of course, if the cruise is soon, early dining may be full.

Once you board, you can go to Dining Changes and asked to be switched to late dining. More likely than not they'll be able to switch you if you get there early.

So sorry to hear this, we went through it last July. It was a few days before our vacation. I cried every time after a couple of drinks there, but was surrounded by friends and not at work so it did help a bit. Hugs, time will help...eventually

I am not sure if this is what you meet but I can't run away from the pain it's best just to stay home and let time heal

No, not running away. It helped me a bit to be around people, but yes really all you need is time to heal.
