I just tried to re-do my 'new' thread and again it failed. The message is 'a slight problem with database'.
For those interested and maybe it should be attached to this thread, I am copying my comments here. I will hijack my own thread.
New thread:
You guys have got to read this story. I am not good at links so it can be found at 'latimes.com' or 'yahoo.com' newstories.
It is very thorough in its reporting. Fairly neutral in tone. I did not get the impression that the reporters were choosing sides; although, there is a hint of scepticism about the WH. There is a time-line at the end of the article which is also very revealing.
To add to this type of topic. Yesterday there was a story that an independent scientific panel convened by the IAEA has concluded that the 'enriched uranium' supposed created by Iran is actually contamination of equipment bought from the Pakistani's years ago. So while Iran is seeking to restart its nuclear program, it seems that they currently have no 'enriched uranium' as constantly reported from the WH. The similarity to the Iraq article is that it was also the WH that constantly stated as fact what was only supposition in the CIA reports. This WH had no faith in the CIA so give little weight to their findings and more weight to Chalabi and his group without actually vetting his information thoroughly.
