We did breakfast at Akershus. We enjoyed the interaction of the Princesses, but Victoria REALLY liked the view of the Norweigen male servers. It was a riot to watch her be all shy like and of course me saying out loud, "so you think he's cute, Victoria?" She almost hid under the table. I thought it was funny!

Hmmmmm.....I'll have to think about going in early May sometimes. Is it warm enough to go without a sweatshirt? I know when we've gone in December it was too cold to swim so how is May for swimming? Hey, maybe you can pick up 2 or 3 of those Mickey mini garden plants that they sell at the little stand by Soaring that come from Living with the Land. I would definitely pay you for them. I just love those little things! And they are perfect for my office as here at the State we aren't allowed to have real plants, at least in my office building. But, those are sealed!! That would be cool! Do you usually Pick A Pearl? Love that, too!!!! I'll have to do more research on that season in May. I like Value season and Free Dining!!

I would say that May will be 80 degrees or more. April was a little too warm for me (but I'm not letting that stop me).

The Flower and Garden Festival looks so beautiful, I'd really love to see it some time. We did breakfast at Akershus in 2010 and even though it was just us 2 adults, we really enjoyed it.

Honest to goodness there were no male servers when we were there! Victoria must have smuggled them all back.

I don't mind getting you a couple of those at all but do me a favor and post a pic in here for me if you can find one just so I can be sure I'm getting you the right one!

I like that you're doing a TR within a PTR. It's fun to see last year's pictures intermingled. I might have to steal the idea for my PTR (if I ever start one). Although, I'll have around 2 1/2 years between trips, so DS looks VERY different.

Steal away I don't mind at all! I'll have another picture update tomorrow. I bet you will be glad you did. Then you can see how much he has changed in two years.

WOOOHOOO MY TRIP IS ALL PAID OFF AND IN JUST OVER A MONTH I'LL BE GETTING MICKEY MAIL!!!!

Just had to share that lovely news with everyone

I've been getting little things done for the trip here and there. I went to Kohl's and got some new capris and two new tops. I also ordered some ear plugs for sleeping at night. My mother snores quite loudly at night so these will be very necessary! I ckecked Amazons customer reviews for a bunch of different kinds and ended up getting "Flents Quiet Contour". I also ordered my park shoes. I got some Teva Mandalyns. I wore some last year and they were so comfy! Plus they are super cute so it's a win win.

I'm going on a little weekend getaway with some friends while April is at her fathers this weekend. Some friends and I are catching a concert in New Hampshire then hitting the Kittery shopping outlets the next day! I'll post pics when I get back.

I'll post the last part of my Epcot day tomorrow

Fellow mainer here!!! Sound like you will have a great time!! My wife and dd, ds and I leave feb. 25th.! Dd's first trip and 3rd birthday!! Any chance to get out of maine in winter is great! We always went it April as a kid and weather was perfect, of coarse that was 25-30 years ago then. I will follow along and let ya know what it was like, have fun , stay warm!!!!

After a fun lunch with the princesses we decided to ride Maelstrom. I met up with my boyfriend the Troll in the dump shop.

April tried on some Bridal Minnie Ears and decided that she definitely wanted these ears. Take that Duffy!

She then decided it would be a good idea to play follow the leader with this Disney Bird

We backtracked to Mexico and rode the Grand Fiesta Tour!

Next we met up with my other man Mexican Donald. I LOVE Mexican Donald. He and I kind of have a little thing going ever since we smooched back in 99'. I saw him looking at me longingly but I gave him that "I have my daughter with me so behave" look. He understood I think.

We were getting hot so we stopped in Japan for some Kaki Gori.

We spotted the "Cars" topiary's.

April decided to do a Kimpossible Mission. We are so excited that this has converted to the Agent P missions as we are huge Phineas and Ferb fans! Here she is getting her super secret instructions.

At this point we were ready for dinner. April cannot pass up a water feature though!

We decided to eat at Sunshine Seasons for dinner. April had the kids chicken leg which she loved and I had the BBQ Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and a raspberry chocolate cupcake. The pork chop and potatoes were really good! I was expecting the cupcake to be yummier than it was though.

We were asked to take a survey as we exited the park on how we felt the park was and what needed improvement. We were led to a little alcove with computers to fill it out at. It took about 20 minutes then we were done! Next up is our first MK day!​

Dd first time there and she is so much into Repunzel , we will be at MK most days but hope to do EPCOT at least one day. And yes leaving maine in February is icing on the disney cake! Lol! We have 12 days and I am way to excited to sleep most nights!!! Have a great trip and enjoy the family time.

Not sure when to tell the kids, wife wants to do it day before, I'm not sure i can wait that long. Kinda a roller coaster ride, excited one minute about the trip and dd's first look at the castle , but HATE to fly!!! Scared of hights( I know I'm a firefighter and I don't like hights but never stopped me at work!!! )

16 days!!!!!!! I'll be in Disney in 16 days!!!!!

I'm not excited or anything. Sorry about the lack of updates but photobuckets new site is a real PITA!!! I'll need to find a different photo sharing site for my trip report. Unless someone can tell me how to resize photo's on the new site. Pretty please.

Just a few updates: My Mickey Mail arrived a couple of weeks ago.

I just today faxed POR my section / building request which made this feel super real like it's just setting in that in just a little over two weeks I will be soaking in the MAGIC. Ahhh!!!!!!

It's all I can do not to bring my suitcase up from the basement and start packing. Am I crazy? Don't answer that.

Also, Super Excited to be doing a first this trip. The Tomorrowland Terrace Desert Party! Yum Yum Yum! I have no control when it comes to sweets so if anyone is there on 4/30 and sees someone being rolled down Main Street after the fireworks it's probably me! ​

You can resize photos on photobucket, but sometimes it doesn't work.

You go to the little "edit" button above the photos, and it will pull up a screen, and "resize" is one of the options.
It works fine for making photos smaller, but it messes them up if you make them smaller, then try to make them bigger again.

13 Days To Go!!!!

I've done a couple of things for the trip over the weekend. I bought some water shoes for my daughter for BB at Walmart. They were only like 4.88 a pair. Also, I bought a swim top to go with my swim skirt.

Also, did anyone notice that I added another ticker?? That's right! April and I are going in December!!! I am super excited about this because I have never been to WDW at Christmas time and I have always drooled over peoples Christmas TR's. The decorations are just to pretty and I cannot wait to experience it in person. Thinking about staying at Pop Century. Definitely attending MVMCP. And also subbed to the December Pin/Discount thread. Hoping for 15% off or a Free Dining offer.​
