just looking at holiday insurance with direct travel, does 'earthquake' cover means it will cover the ash cloud incident if (god forbidden) it was to be repeated?
sorry for being dumb am just not very good at all the wording they use!

I wouldn't imagine it would cover you if the ash cloud did re-appear, that occurrence and an earthquake I would imagine are classed as two separate incidents. The ash cloud comes from a volcano, not an earthquake.

Fingers crossed it won't re-appear for you though, it was around the time we went back in May and it was really horrible not knowing what was happening from one hour to the next.

Not a problem, though I'm hoping it's gone for quite some time really, it was too much stress to cope with for people. I couldn't relax at all, even at the airport I was unsure if we'd be flying or not, really not a nice experience.

I'm pretty sure you'll get away okay though
