Last night my kids.. DD4 and DS5 were playing in the front room where we had just out up our Disney Christmas Tree, complete with Tinkerbell tree topper, and came running into DH and I with wide eyes in disbelief...
"Come quick!! You won't believe this! Hurry!" They screamed in unison!!
Not exactly what you want to hear after the two of them have been playing quietly in excess of 15 minutes!
We ran into the room with them and they said.." Shhhh! Listen..
Just listen! "
Sure enough, in a few seconds, the unmistakable tinkle of Tinkerbell was heard. The kids almost fainted in glee !
"See! There is was!! It's Tinkerbell!! FOR REAL!!!"
(My husband had been looking at the Disney website on the computer in the room earlier and then left. The computer had reset to the screen saver , but you could still hear the Tinkerbell every few seconds. )
It was so magical to see their faces and their whole-hearted belief that Tinkerbell was actually in our house! This makes it all the more special that we are surprising them with our trip in 10 days! Now, maybe I can work Tinkerbell's visit into the way that we tell them!!
Just thought I'd share.. a little story of pixie dust!
