I do admire your courage to come out and tell everyone it was you and that you want forgiveness. If Bug chooses to forgive you then I will forgive you as well but you must earn any respect by your actions from now on. Just because we are virtual players does not mean there are not real life feelings behind the screen. Think twice before you speak out in anger and when in doubt just walk away. Much easier for you to say afk rather than appologize for what you said.

Just my two cents, but it sounds like a genuine apology to me. Apparently you also have health issues that you are getting treatment for and I hope that goes well for you. I don't know how old you are, but I am assuming you are still quite young. Since I am a grandma I want to tell you something my mom told me when I was a little girl and I told my kids and now my beautiful granddaughter.... "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" Saying hurtful things hurts YOU as well as the victim, but I think you just found that out for yourself. I admire your courage in making a public apology and wish you the best! Welcome back!

I received your pm but would also like to respond here Ben. Its not often we can speak in the open such as this, for all to see.

Sweet and I have been at the receiving end of your anger for many months Ben. IN fact since last Dec. We have every reason in the world not to forgive you. And just when I didnt think you could stoop any lower, you throw that comment to Bug about her son Ink. In my eyes that was the lowest any human could reach.

I also told you in the pm that I could forgive you for what you did to me, but forgetting is another story Ben. Why? Because you are currently harrassing a very good friend of ours on vmk......a very popular trade girl. She comes telling us all the time.

So from my point of view, you come here to publically apologize because you hit a very hi profile figure such as slinkyman. A very popular player. As they say a horse cant change their colors.

So while the thought was nice Ben, did it come from your heart? Are all your games stopping? Because none of us here involved deserve abuse Ben.

I'm kinda shocked at how ppl can cry out for an apology, but when its given its analyzed for sincerity.
It takes alot to publically admit to a community of people like dis what you've done and how wrong of you it was to say such horrible things.

I dont think wanting sincerity is being to demanding. Yes it took alot for Ben to come here and apologize publically for all to see. He also sent personal pm's to those directly involved. And I appreciated that more than anything.

Now its time to move on and push this behind us.

So thanks Ben, I would like to be the first to extend my hand to you.

Ben, you've taken the first step in letting others know you are sorry for things you have done in the past. I hope knowing so many are willing to accept your apology encourages you as move forward

The next step, is to earn their respect. This will be done by showing others, both in words and actions, that you have truly learned something from your mistakes and are committed to change. This will not happen overnight, but with time people may be able to feel they are able to trust you once again.

As long as we can show others we are willing to learn from our mistakes, they are usually willing to give us a second chance. (and we all make mistakes! )
