It's not over "over there". Visit the troops thread at the top of the CB, say a prayer, put out a flag or a yellow ribbon, contact a family member of someone serving to show support, really listen to the news instead of letting it become "same ole, same ole....".

In other words, don't forgot our troops!

Now, back to your regularly schedled DISsing.........

It's not over "over there".

No, it isn't, and it won't be for a long time. I have a family member that is scheduled to be deployed to that area in January.

I really wish we still had the Operation Iraqi freedom board. :( It is not as easy to post those things on this board. Thanks for doing so.
Most of the Army that went into Baghdad during the war is still there. 3rd ID(first unit into Baghdad) and the 101st were there from the get-go and still remain, no end in sight. I know they are getting weary.
I will say another prayer for them and those in other danger zones too.

I agree. There are thousands of solider, airmen and sailors still in the middle east. I know it gets old back home to hear the same thing over and over but for the troops still there it is still happening.

It is definately not over. I still have a nephew in Kuwait and he is expected to be there through Sept. at least. My yellow ribbon is still tied to my tree and my flag is still waving. These men and women deserve our undying respect and gratitude. Thanks for the reminder that we still have men and women "over there".
