My 17 yr old daughetr tested positive for the flu yesterday morning.
Because she was seen just a little more than 24 hrs of getting ill the NP started her on Tamiflu. Boy, that stuff is amazing! I gave her the first dose at 8pm last night and again at 8am this morning and she is already feeling so much better. I have been wearing a mask (and of course washing my hands) while caring for her as she just couldn't because she was sneezing and blowing her nose constantly. there were 40 kids out ill yesterday at her school.
Alas, I awoke sneezing up a storm and a very runny nose. So here I sit with my mug of raspberry Emergen-C hoping it is just a head cold and will go no furthur. My oldest daughter was out of town last night and after work will be staying at her dad's house.
