Hi Everyone, my name is Toni. I posted on this site months ago when my fiance and I decided to get married in Disney. My sister decided to get married this may so things were sort of placed on hold. Our wedding is set for October 10 2004 at the wedding Pavillion and our reception is going to be at the Boardwalk resort. We still have not heard from our wedding coordinator. It has been over a week since we sent back our contract. Now that my sisters wedding is over I am eager to start all of our planning. I work for the GOV so it is hard to take time off. We are hoping to get to Disney in July to plan the wedding, see the flowers. ECT. We have book Rev Jack Day to preside over our wedding. I am going to order my inivtations today. They are cinderella and pricce Charming invites by Carlson Crafts, you all have probably seen them. they are that stardust showers invites. Here is my Q.. (finally I know, I just get so excited talking about it) On the invitation, the wording, is it Disney's Wedding Pavillon at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or just Disneys Wedding Pavillion, Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista Fl??

I am looking forward to talking more about weddings and ideas.. Any help would be great..

Toni -

Congrats on getting your plans going!

You should look into joining disneymooners at ezboard.com, it is a large group of WDW and the archive have HUNDREDS of resources, sample invitations, venue photos, venues, menus, everything you could want or need.

As for your specific question, most people put DWP, WDW, LBV Florida.

Have you been to the pavillion before? The parking is actually just BEFORE the GF parking - so people might get confused if you put GF on the invite. There are also lots of great maps for your guests, newsletter templates, and other printed materials samples at the disneymooners.

Good luck with your Disney planning!

Feel free to ask any other questions

I was married March 8,2004 at the pavilion and boardwalk resort. We used the St james patio and it was beuatiful.

For our invitation we put "Disney's Wedding Pavilion".

good luck:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Toni, just to let you know, it took about 2/3 weeks for us to be assigned an Event Manager after we sent the contract back.
