1st - A big thank you to those who shared their trips, secrets, and opinions
Especially Hydoguy- YOU ARE A MOUNTAIN OF INFO.

June 4th - we leave for the adventure of a lifetime at Disneyland for 3 days Grandmother, Daughter, and Kindergarten graduate grandaughter. Okay so it'a girl thing.

Q1- We plan to use photo pass- should I plan on acquiring a new one each day?-Your opinions as always invaluable
Q2- I would never expect to hold a line, for others in my group. However having made that claim. We have a dessert package my fantasmic, would you think it too bold if one of went at 8:00 to claim the preferred seats and the others came around 8:30?
Q3- On that same note - We are planning on an early Aladdin show(which is only offered once while we are there) Would I presume too much for one of us to hold the line for a bit while the others do last minute potty and snack break? Irealize if I want the good seats someone needs to be in line early.
Q4- Although we do have the option of one MM during our stay- which by the way is not at a DLH - 2 of these nites are grad nights with the park closing early. How valuable is the MM compared sleeping in and taking
our time right up until closing (on the early close nights) It may be a moot point because all of us may still be on EST (early would be late for us) and we may all need a break in the heat of the day. Frankly all of us can bearly wait to enjoy large quantities of the alien sun. It's not been too hardy here in the east.
Enjoy all your trips wherever they may be,with whomever you love, and may you have many happy trails.

1. I always find it easier to carry 1 photopass so I do not have to worry about misplacing one or plugging the numbers in for every card. I always keep it together with my fastpasses and park entrance ticket, so I know where it is at all times. I also take a pic of it in case I lose it.
4. With a 3 day ticket you get one MM, I would use it! Most people prefer sleeping in, you want to take advantage of that. Plus, you are from the east coast - if you use your MM early in your trip, it will help you adjust your clocks.

As for your other questions, erm I guess it is how you feel about line cutting. Different people have different views on what it means. I personally show up with everyone early and then if a potty break is needed, then 2 of us go and return. Serves 2 purposes really, the people who left know where we are sitting so you don't have to wave frantically in a sea of people ( which IMO is more annoying then saving the seat) and those around us know there are more people in the group.

1. You only need to carry one photopass. If for some reason you have more than one photopass, (for instance, your group splits up and the photopass holder is not there), then you can always get another one. The multiple cards can be merged together for one account.

2. Fantasmic dessert package - no problem with one person waiting in line to choose seats and the rest of your party getting there later.

3. I would suggest you all wait for Aladdin together. The CMs will call out that your entire group should enter together. For one thing, it's not that easy or polite to push past all the people mobbed together in the waiting area. Sometimes it's also hard to see where your group is. Finally, the CMs do count, and the area you enter could end up getting closed to new people before the other members of your group get there to meet you. Have all the potty needs taken care of before you get in line. Since you will be waiting outdoors in line for a while though, you can snack then. You just can't have the food and drink inside the theater.

4. MM is really useful. If I had it, I wouldn't let it go to waste.

For the Dessert package, other people will be lining up way earlier than 8:00 to chose their seats. If you wait that long you will get what is left. You only need one person to line up for this. One person lines up, when you get to the front a CM shows a map of the seats left, you pick your seats, and then you can leave untill it is time to return to watch the show. Those are your seats then, to return whenever you want to up to about 15 mins or so, before the show starts.

VERY VALUABLE!!! The park just gets more crowded and more crowded as the day goes on, even at night, and especially if its closing early. If the park was open later, you may see people clearing out around 8-9pm because of their little ones.

In that one hour you can get almost every single ride in Fantasyland done, and let me tell you, it is NOT fun having to wait an hour+ to go on a 2 minute ride, lol. ;) So I *love* being able to get all those rides out of the way first thing in the morning. You can literally walk on onto Mr Toads Wild Ride, Snow White, Pinocchio, etc. Plus, already being inside the middle of the park when it opens buys you extra time to get to the next big ride before anyone else! (doesn't seem like much, but it really is when you consider how long it takes to get down Main Street with the crowds!) My fav is to get a nice sit down breakfast after doing MM, because then I feel like I've got extra time to enjoy! :thumbsup2

PS. you probably already know, but do Peter Pan first thing! Its always the most crowded!

Great tip about taking a pic. Never thought of that. Thanks!
