How many times can they make a movie about repeating the mistakes of the previous movie? Doesn't matter - I'm a sucker for a decent adventure film, so we will probably go see it in theatres
I'm in! I love Scarlett Johansson so she is one of those rare few I'll follow just because it is them.
Funny/not funny she pivoted to Disney's competitor, FWIW trying to cut her out of Black Widow was low and then there was the ChatGPT thing - she is a real life Bad blankety blank blank fighting for her rights.
I'm a sucker for the whole franchise! (I listen to the audiobook of the original for comfort.) So yes, I will definitely see the new one, no matter how many times they don't learn their lesson.
Jurassic Park/World movies are even better at a drive-in! We also saw the original "Twister" movie at the drive-in. The scene where the tornado rips through the drive in certainly was exciting! Lol

On this note did you listen to or read Dragon's Teeth by Michael Crichton - it was written with a manuscript he started before his death - It is really good in my opinion kinda like a historical prequel about the fossil hunt at the end of the 1800's. Check it out sometime.

I don't think she's got any kind of animosity towards Disney. Certainly not any more after they settled the issue with Black Widow and the quick release to streaming. Even if the Black Widow character is kaput, it's not as if she's avoiding Disney and Marvel Studios. She's supposed an executive producer for an upcoming MCU movie.
I think she's more concerned with particular projects and not specifically the releasing studio.
I saw the first in the theater, I was confused because I knew what was going to happen, finally figured out I read the book (same thing happened with Silence of the Lambs). I read a lot back then.
I love everything about this franchise and will be watching it - My husband does not understand my obsession with it at all.
