I agree, luck of the draw. I’ve been soaked and barely wet and didn’t matter where I sat. I hate getting in the ride vehicle and sitting on the wet seats so no matter what my bottom gets damp!

Agreed. Nothing like popeye! Most of the time I've ridden it, got a little wet on my shirt.

We still laugh about the first time we road. There were young girls in line behind us and just as we got to boarding, they said, "You guys are going to get soaked!" as they put on ponchos. Out three daughters got in one boat and my wife and I in the next.

My wife and I only got a few drops of water the entire ride. We were laughing about how little we got wet and that those girls were wrong, then we pulled up to unload where our three daughters were waiting. They were all drenched.

We've ridden a bunch of times since then and haven't really got very wet. (and I hate getting wet on rides)

I have not been on the Jurassic Park ride, but we wore ponchos when riding Dudley Dooright and Bluto's Barges. In Dudley Dooright, they kept us pretty dry. In Bluto, the water came down on us so hard that it flooded the seats and came up and soaked our butts even though we had ponchos on! We tried those stupid drying machines for $5 (waste of money/time), and ended up going back to the hotel for a bit to dry off

We got wet on Jurassic. But yeah absolutely drenched on Bluto's.

Oh hell no... We hated Bluto and my son cried DURING the ride. It sucks.

Bluto is one of our absolute favorite rides in the park. I don’t think we have ever gone on it and not laughed hysterically.

We love Blutos but have literally been stuck under the bucket that pours gallons and gallons of water out for 3 minutes. I was wetter than the time I was Pushed fully dressed into a lake.
