Junior Suite @ CSR?

In the unofficial FAQ thread, I saw pics of the junior suite, but am still confused about it. For our party of 5 adults, we're thinking it might be okay. Last trip we got 2 connecting rooms at POR which worked out really well. But the junior suite looks interesting. Does anyone know if the couch I'm seeing in the pictures is a pull out? Disney's website says the junior suite has a parlor with a Murphy bed in it. Is this it? Has anyone stayed in this suite before? Thanks!

I looked into it and they said there was both, not sure which option you would get. But the price is really high compared to either a family suite or a DVC villa. Even the deluxe rooms at the deluxe resorts could be a better deal with a 40% discount. I think they use these rooms a lot for conventions, I don't usually see any comments about us "regular" folks using them.

I don't know the details of the room but just wanted to offer a warning - the junior suites are generally excluded from all discounts, so they work out to be considerably more expensive than two rooms unless you're traveling during a peak season when you're stuck paying rack rate.

Thanks for the info. We're leaning towards doing to the 2 regular rooms with a connecting door again. We're going in June, pretty sure we're not going to have a discount for our package with DDP.

Don't know anything about the suites but my daughter will be thrilled to know there's another Britta out there... even if you forgot to put in the second "t".

The suites used to have the murphy bed until they did the rehab; not is is the pull out sofa.

As others have said, though, the junior suites are very expensive and you could probably rent points for a DVC villa cheper. We did stay in the junior suite once and it was lovely...but we were upgraded for our 25th wedding anniversary.
