Jungle Navigation Co. - When did this open?!?

While the menu has been dumbed down a bit for the masses since it first opened, we still think its the best dining option in MK. When it first opened, Disney tried to make it more of a walk up TS restaurant, which didn't work so well. Then they added making same day ADRs, which also didn't work. Now it is on the same ADR system as the rest of the WDW restaurants. Severs can be hit or miss with how much they get into it. But ultimately, between the atmosphere and the food, it doesn't get much better in MK.

We went in Dec 2018. The food was good but the service was extremely slow. The park was busy but the restaurant was not. I am not sure if this is a typical experience or not, but because of that, we likely won't go back. As we all know, time is key at WDW and we didn't feel that the food here was worth the wait (esp since the restaurant was not packed).

It is one of the best sit-downs in MK because it features food you probably wouldn't consider making for yourself at home! However, I didn't feel like it was better than the offerings just a short monorail ride away at the MK resorts.

Have eaten there several times. while the menu has lost some of its uniqueness, its still quite good. Your experience is very server driven. The first 3 or 4 times, we had awesome servers with lots of bad Jungle Cruise type jokes and table interaction. Our last time, the server was a server. Minimal interaction, no bad jokes. At our table and all of his other tables. We enjoyed the food, but the overall experience was missing something. Going back in the fall and hoping for better.
