I have a question.

I heard that the Jungle Cruise was going to be sporting some Indiana Jones stuff--but I only ride the JC at night (I think it's best at night), so is the Indy stuff stuff you can only see during the day? Or can you see it during night, too?

PS: What is the Indy stuff on it? I'm a big Indy fan, and I'd love to see the little 'surprises' they have. ::yes:: But I'm curious as to how they "Indyized" it. :)

Basically, they've just added a few comments about Indy-probably very similar to comments they added to the ride back in '95 when it first opened.

was on the ride saturday and there is about 4 comments regarding indy that the skipper makes during the cruise.

I was on JC on Sat. too! And our skipper didn't make one comment about Indy, must depend on the skipper you get. We didn't see anything that was Indy related.:confused3 Indy did come out near the JC and do a stunt type thing on top of a couple of the buildings in the area. That was cool especially for our Indy loving boy.

Oh, cool, thanks guys. :)

PS: Who else loves JC at night? Personally, I think it's the best time to go on. It feels and looks real. When you look behind your boat and it's pitch black...you look everywhere else...pitch black! And like I said, it looks real--because it's night and you can't make things out as well. It's just an experience best had at night, in my personal opinion. popcorn::

I agree one-billion percent ::yes:: It feels so real.

I totally agree that it is better at night. It is so cool to look up through the trees and see the stars! :goodvibes

In all my years of going to DL, I have never done those rides at night. I am going to next time for sure!

so much better at night!! DD8 loves the JC but we all love it at night. :)

This was me until our last visit. We didn't plan on going at night; It just happened that way. but I LOVED it! Our guide was great as well, but it is a totally different ride. You must do it! I have been going to DL for years and had never done this...

It's been a long time since we've done it at night. I don't know why either. In a few days though, we are for sure going at night! :)

Oh, cool, thanks guys. :)

My son agrees that it looks way too real at night. Poor kid was terrified the other night, and he's been on it something like 10 times! He kept getting off his seat and crouching down in the boat.

We had to take him on in the daytime, next day, to show him that things were "robots" (that's what we call animatronics with him), and that the "spears" weren't actually being thrown.

I didn't notice anything about Indy the couple times we just went on it, except that they paid more attention to the Indy riders than I'm used to.
