My husband is shocked. He is feeling very badly right now for the D23 folks who paid $$$ for the pre-opening experience on 7/16.

Apparently they did some sneak peek last night but it is totally open to all today. Didn’t have to wait more than 15 when we went. We had heard some popping sounds on Sat and wondered if it was JC but the app said still closed so we just ignored it. The app has not been updated and still says closed for refurb. Looks like they are still training cast members as there are ALOT there

Yup. Walked past it a few hours ago and was surprised to see it open. I asked a nearby CM and he told me that there was a soft opening on Friday.

It’s been open for a few days. We rode it yesterday. It’s cute! Only waited seven minutes. As noted by others, the app still says it’s closed, so I’m sure that’s helping keep crowds down.

I think they’re talking with Imagineers or something, right? It was kinda sneaky with the “one of the first” and “official reopening” wording, but it was actually open in the park shortly BEFORE those tickets even went on sale. I’m sure they’re still JC superfans who are going to get a cool experience.

YES!! We rode Friday (our last day in the parks) and loved it. Such a great surprise, we thought we were going to have to wait until next trip.

We rode last Friday when it opened. Waited only about ten minutes to get on. Mind you, we weren't huge fans of the original, and, if that's the case with you, the changes aren't going to be enough to change your opinion. If you loved the original, you'll probably still love this version. It's different, not better or worse.
