Does anyone know if Walt intended the jungle cruise to be humorous?? or has it just become that way, did it start out serious???

Well, I'm not sure that they were trying to serious by having the cannibals dance to disco...

I think there's also a pretty good segment about the Jungle Cruise on the Disneyland, USA Broadcast DVD set...haven't popped it out in a while, though. It's really interesting how practically none of the ride are as they were originally intended. With some exceptions, like the Tiki Room :)

:scared1: What the animals and natives arnt real? ;)

Oh well I still love that ride even if it is kinda cheesy. I mean Who doesnt like going on that ride to see the backside of water? :rotfl:

We love the Jungle Cruise....we know it so well but we still ride it every trip! LOL Last trip we had time for 2 rides in DL on our last day, we did Pirates and Jungle Cruise! LOL

I agree. It is one of those rides you really do have to ride when you are there. It is quite fun.
