We were at MK last week and decided to go on the Jungle Cruise since we had not done this the past few years. We tried to ride it last year, but one of the boats had sunk so it was shut down. If you do this ride, try to be on Teddy's boat. He is a CM from Hong Kong and he was fantastic. He was very animated and over the top in his spiel. It took a little bit of getting used to his accent and understanding everything he said, but it is well worth the experience.

Thanks for the info. We have not been on the jungle cruise the last few trips. Seems we always get caught up in other rides/attractions. This is a must this trip. :flower:

That ride is one of our absolute favorites. Even our 15 year old son thinks the silly puns are hilarious.

It's funny you mentioned the Jungle Cruise.
Yesterday we had the most hysterical Jungle Cruise driver named Jim. There was a long delay exiting and he kept the jokes coming the entire time. We were laughing so hard.
I love that they keep it fresh each time.

Joyce from Hong Kong is the best....hands down. She got us into her boat twice and we didnt have to wait at all. She's a magical lady.

We had Joyce 2 weeks ago and agree she has been my favorite skipper ever.

We had her one night...it was me and my group of friends and a few other people, and we laughed at every joke. We went back a few days later, saw Joyce and she got us on the ride without waiting. We went back again, and she put us on her boat, again no wait. Then she gave us a note, in which she thanked us for laughing at her jokes and making her job fun.

Shes a legend.

I love how they change the speech every so often on this ride. One of my absolute faves.

I was there a week ago and I had a CM from Hong Kong on Jungle Cruise too. She was sooo funny. I don't know whether the jokes at WDW are funnier than at DL or she was just exceptionally good, but we had a great time.

I think Jungle Cruise is hilarious! I love the jokes :rotfl:

Did you know they dye the water in the Jungle Cruise brown- it hides the track that way.

On KTTK we walked out the back door of the Emporium and right there you can see the Jungle Cruise! Its really close to Main Street! -Stephanie

We were there in late april and also had Teddy as our guide and he was great, it was our first time on the ride and the whole family thought he was very funny. princess: princess: princess: ::MickeyMo

Oh I'm so happy to hear this, we will definitely give it a go in June. It's nice to know it still has some life in it.
