Jungle Cruise Breakfast

Jungle Cruise is one of my favorite rides and I ran straight to the reservation system to book this because it sounds extremely cool. They had a 2-person booking for October 1....then up came the $300 per person price tag. NOPE! :scared:

Bummer!

Yeah, I was ready to see if I could book it for 5 of us in Oct...at $300 a head...holy cow!!!!

Last year it was the Mahaloween event at Trader Sam's, for something like $250 (for 2 people -- $125 per person). This year we have this $300 (per person) Jungle Cruise event AND the "Mystical Spirits of the Blue Bayou - Premium Halloween Dining Experience" (at about $150 per person, I think) -- the separate paid event within the paid event (MHP).

$300????????? Sheesh! It costs less than that to dine at Club 33.
LOL about Trader Sam coming to life and hand feeding you, nicolispicoli!!! :rotfl2:
I agree DizMe!! Let's go to Club 33 instead and save some money! Never thought I'd hear myself saying that!! LOL! Everyone is saying the same thing about it being ridiculously expensive, which I totally agree. So, who are all these people making the reservations??!!! I checked, just for fun, for 9/21 when DizMe and I will be there and there are no seats available! Crazy!!

I'm guessing the reservations are very limited in number. It says you get to drive the boat as a skipper in training after the breakfast. There are only so many boats, so it'd have to be pretty limited.

Reading through the event details, it sounds like you will actually eat in/around a show scene? They talk of rough terrain and to wear appropriate shoes. That sounds pretty sweet. They aren't offering it in October when I'm there so fortunately I don't have to ponder doing it.

Same here, they had a spot open for October 1st at 6:30 I got excited because we are going that day for my wife's birthday and then BOOM!!!! $600!!! I think I'll Pass, our 7 day Caribbean cruise was less than that.

Disney is boldly displaying these expensive dining experiences along with all the regular restaurants, so 21 Royal Street might appear soon (which is likely to be much more expensive).
