June trip

Trying to decide if we can manage to come this summer.

DH says he can't take off work until June 6th. I am scared to go that late in the season. Any thoughts on going in June? We visited in 2004 and 2006 and I feel very strongly that we should come again in 2008.

Anyone been in June? How were the crowds?

Hi! We went last june-07 with our 2.5yo (at that time) twins. It was very busy...and very hot. That being said, we planned really really well, were very organized followed the traveling itineraries from some Disney books, and we had a great time.

I'd for sure suggest being well planned and know that in the afternoons it gets crazy hot! We would go back to thre resort and swim or rest...it was busy, but worth it!

We have always gone in June since our first kiddo was 15 months and have a great time. We always take a swim and nap break and get to the parks early. We also take a resort day in the middle. It is crowded but really we have never waited in long lines. We make a plan for what we want to do and use fastpass and babyswap. We are not commandos though. We go almost every year so we don't worry about missing something.

We went in June 2006 and are planning another trip this June 10th - 17th. I agree with the other post that it can be VERY hot and a bit crowded but with some advance planning you can have a great trip! We have discovered that we prefer to go in June because the parks tend to open later and the kids love to swim (it's so warm you can swim at 11 pm!) We also like June because going to Disney World is a great way to kick off our summer vacation. No worries about school when we get home.

We frequently go either the first or second week of June. It's hot already, but we will wind up spending a lot of time in the pool or the water parks. It's not as crowded as later on in the summer. We'll be there this year from June 7 to June 14.
