June, July or Aug?

If you had no other choice, and the travel dates could be any week after June 10th and before Aug. 20th, when would you go?


In my many visits over the years, I have only been in May, Sept. Oct. Nov., Dec, and Jan. If I want some family to go with me and those are the only dates they can go, which would you choose?

Last year we went July 9-17, and we are used to going in the fall. While it was HOT and CROWDED, we still had a great time. We maximized the use of the pool, water parks, and places with air conditioning. While it wouldn't be my first choice of when to go, I think you can have tons of fun any time of year just because after all it IS Disney World! If going with other people is important to you, then I would do it. We switched from the free dining to a week in October so we could go with my brother and his family (I will even have to pull my kids out of school, but he won't since they have a break that week). It's worth it to go with the people you love.

If I were you I'd go the last week in August that you could.
Alot of schools in the south go back the 1st week or so of
August. Every little bit helps. Good Luck

If it's all the same to you, I'd probably book the free dining package and go then. We are leaving Friday (June 2nd) and we went three years ago in July - it's hot no matter how you get around it. The free dining appeals to me - except school starts early in South Carolina - so it's not doable for us.

Any time is good when it's Disney! We did July in '03 and didn't have a problem with the heat or the lines but I think it was still slow then from 09/11/01. I would go as early as you can in June to try and beat those darn hurricanes though.
