70 degrees...no rain...went to Sam's. Got that done and the place was empty too! Better than going Saturday that's for sure.

EE22, I can't believe your upset with doing erand's >> after driving around chicago would think it was a relief to drive around there.

mky...normally I don't mind running errands...it's just all the shoppers are out and about in December and they drive me a little nuts. Some of the traffic looks like ChicagoI'll continue to hybernate until January. One run still for Walmart and I'm done with going to stores till 2013!! There are a couple of parking lots here that are brutal too...only one exit and it's just not fun.

Black Friday must have done me in

I also hate pushing the cart through snow in the winter so I was thrilled with the April weather yesterday

EE22, good news for chicago > saying "new" police chiefs today cause of the 38 shootings last weekend. Don't think we will go up there xmas shopping this year. Tell DD to be extra careful.
Do you have your suitcases down yet? Your very close.
When you go do you put up your tree ect...?

I feel like I am on vacation. 12hr shifts >> 1 good thing I am off till the weekend. WooHoo.

Hi Everyone! Been busy here! I have been lucky enough to work everyday since we got power back. But I am exhausted. Between the storm, then 2 birthdays, Thanksgiving, and now Christmas...I am ready for a trip to Disney! But they just told us that our winter break will now be a long weekend so that stinks. No vacation for us until the summer. But I am really missing the mouse. Gotta say that I would love to plan something for August but fear that free dining will be a thing of the past with the new Fantasyland.

Well we made a decision >>> [insert band music] went with BC for april. Did the AAA rate / GV. Hoping it gets a better rate?? But right now we are fairly happy. Wanted to do something a bit different. Haven't been at this area for a while. But, we where playing and I scored CR / Garden / GV for june/ july & Oct's trips. Did the AAA rate. So am happy with that. CR garden is almost impossible to get.

So that is where we are now but subject to change. Trying to be a bit more economical, [baby steps]

Now, we requested for BC a high floor & epcot woods view? What is your opionion?? Just looking for something quietier. BC tends to be noisy.

The CM was very nice and helpful > but tried to "sell" the concierge at the BC a bit. Not interested > we don't feel very comfortable with that set up. Feels like they keep tabs on you sometimes?? Or maybe we are just paranoid.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend. I got cancelled at work today WooHoo! Start jury duty tommorrow > hope it last till thursday. ?? I have a long weekend off this week.

I would go with a quiet spot at BC...we had a partial view of SAB and it was loud I thought.

Hope jury duty works out for you. Years ago DH was on a jury.

Yes, excited know it will be boring like sitting in dmv > unless you get picked. Not allowed to bring phone or lap top either into courthouse. Ugh. Got a book > be a long day but still not WORK.

Interesting about no phones and no laptops.
I was called for jury duty once...not a good thing for a teacher that's for sure...total nightmare. It was a domestic violence case and I had a friend involved with that so they say bye-bye I was okay with that

Weather was icky here today.
But still not horrible for December. I actually went to the store todayI don't usually do this in December due to the PEOPLE. I swear some lady was going 35 mph in the parking lot!!

Bug and I went to our mall too. Was packed, but like the crowds and excitement for a little while > then we left.

Totally wet and gloomy here too. Was in the 30's.
OMG the BEARS looked terrible. That was embarrassing.

hiya all,

Having an interesting week on jury duty. But, not tommorrow > I can go to work. Which is great. Hoping I am done for the week. We will see. Monday was a bad day at the courthouse. But, after a bad day > I was the last one turned down for the big trial, Thank you.

Cannot believe december is flying by. and don't forget tommorrow is 12/12/12.

Thought it was flu going around but seems to be a virus. At least the worst of it comes and goesit pretty quickly.

Well.....here we are at the week before Christmas !!..WOW....Where did this month go !!
Busy, Busy here in the Tomar household, getting ready for The Holidays ...I have to say that we are finally at the end of our shopping for everyone (just a couple of more items and...done !) The Little Prince and Princess`s Christmas Gifts are on their way South !!
Im going to Cook this year YAHOOOOOOOO...I feel good...so this will be another test for me, but I was at the doc`s on Dec. 4th and everything is looking good (Thank you God)
Its been a sad weekend here in the north east with that Horrific Shooting in Conn. ...Those poor little children,teachers and Principal ...sooooo heartbreaking, and unimaginable how someone could do such a thing
On a brighter note:

Bug- HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! Hope your special day was a Magical one !!!

TP2- Hope everyone is starting to feel alittle better...its the weather here..one day its in the 50`s ...next its in the 30`s....yuk

MKY- You will be a wiz on the Justice system after your week on Jury Duty...Im sure it was interesting ...Mr. Tomar watches "Court TV" sometimes ....He finds some of those cases soooo interesting...I find spme of them... BORR-ING, I listen to him listening, and I would just fall asleep hearing some of those monotone voices giving thier testimony!!
