thank you everyone. and past two days on top of everything else. I think im trying to get a sinus infection. so much pressure in my sinuses, sneezing my head off.. horrible headache.. nose keeps runny... so i bought a combo pack of dayquil/nyquil's sinus medicine Sinex. so far so good.. hopefully i caught it soon enough and it doesnt get bad.

Glad to hear that Bug is doing better and at least up and about...even if using an old lady walker.

So very sorry to hear about Vader. It really has been a difficult time for you lately. I hope things change soon.

A March trip would be nice but the weather can go either way. It rained the entire trip in March 2010 when we took my mom and her friends. The prices that time of year make having the DVC ownership worth while. Let me know if you want to look at renting points.

I can book the 2bdr at AKV on Oct 5th (7 month mark) for our trip next May. We have 9 of us going so far and I am hoping my brother youngest brother and his family decide to come.

I hope things change for the better for eveyone and soon. It has been a difficult summer for the group.

well mom had ther appointment today. its gonna be either next thursday or friday. and its gotta be up in Indy. the one point that she told me that i really dont like is that they will have to stop her heart.. i really dont like that part.. it makes me nervous.. I ve seen too many medical shows.. i dont like it...

Wow...tons going on. So much bad this year. 2012 has GOT to be better...although I think we said that about 2011.

There is really nothing to say...Disney is a diversion and you all need a trip next year. For us, we are living in our memories. We all miss our trip but I am so happy we were just there and got away for bit.

to add to the bad luck of 2011.. i just found out from a friend i grew up with that her dad has a tumor in his neck, and that they wont know if its cancer or not till they take it out they are waiting for a surgery date right now..


thanx... we are all freaking out right now. Her surgery is first thing friday morning. the first surgery of the morning. from what she told me about the doctor that is doing it, he has done 6 of the same surgeries in the past 6 months, and they have all discovered it the same way mom did, just by going to the ER for something unrelated. and that he has only been at it for like 8 or 9 years and has done 6 of them already, yet other doctors there have 15+ years under their belt and have never even seen it.. so im hoping since he is well practiced at it that all will go well. they have to stop her heart for a bit thats the big that scares me the most. Ive seen many medical shows.. so it freaks me out


work has been good. I had my asst. manager approve my days. Half day for thursday night then all of friday. I had the time so i put it as vacation time, so i dont lose any more. I will be leaving at 3am thursday night/friday morning and then staying at the hospital hotel friday night and saturday night then sunday my boyfriend is bringing me home cuz i gotta go to work monday night...

in the midst of all this bad luck. Some good luck has come my way. in the image of a super wonderful, and supportive boyfriend. he is already so amazing. on top of visiting me at the hospital to keep my company, and driving me home sunday so i can go to work on monday. he, this past weekend surprised me with tickets to the Steelers/Colts game in Indy. He is a colts fan, im a steelers fan. it was my first NFL game. it was great. i had such fun with him. it hurts now that im away from him. he makes me feel like such a its such an amazing feeling to feel that someone actually cares about you.. its a feeling im not use to from guys..

We are at the hosital right now. Mom get in pre-op. So waiting here. Stressed out. I don't like the sitting here. And my stepdad is driving me insane. He needs to really bug off right now.

No he isn't. That's just him. He is always like that. 24/7. Mom is still not awake and still on the breather. I'm worried. But no one else is....

well I'm back home now. i did see something that made me very happy before i left the hospital though. they finally took the breathing tubes out of mom, so she was breahing on her own. i was really hoping that they would do that before i left.i hated seeing those tubes in her. so thats good. she was talking a bit, but obviously the tubes down her thoart made her thoart sore and scratchy. they were gonna give her som ice chips soon after that. I told my stepbrother to bring her up a themos full of the raspberry lemonade i brought her tommorrow. that would make her happy, help her feel better too... she told us what her doctor said about her stuffed animals. Mom has an obsession with penguins, she brought one with her, and then i bought her 2 more at the gift shop, plus a kitty that looks like one of ours(figured a bit of normal for her with a kitty sleeping on her), the doctor saw all teh penguins and was like " there's been a penguin invasion!" i thought that was funny..

and on another happy note. me and Rob are still doing well.. 2 weeks now, new record for me and being happy in a relationship nonstop... we started talking about our 6-month anniversary, thats how happy we both are, and we are gonna take a 4 day weekend from work and go up to niagrara falls. also something i realized today.. when me and him go on our disney cruise/park trip.. it will be just before our 2 year anniversary.

at least things are starting to look up over on my end.. thank you everyone for al the pixie dust.. it really helped...

JMouse, So sorry, I know your going through alot. A pacer is a quick procedure, it just works with the electrical impulses of the heart. Keeps them in the proper rate! It is a pretty routine procedure, compared to what your mom has been through. We even have them in children.

Well, AP rates came out through March 8. So we jumped on the band wagon and plan to now leave march 8 instead of the 9th. Got a pretty good rate and it covers everything except 1 night. Booked again at CR mkv tower. I could not get this on the phone thou. Only online on the ap site.
Not sure if I can tear Bug away from Jedi & Yoda. They are permanently attached to her. Not sure how she will ever go back to work.
Already moved our air to that date and car. I got a pretty good rate with national. But the code is from work and you need an id for it. Or, I would share.

This last week has been killer at work. But, the weather is really nice today.

thanx.. just talked to mom. pacemaker went in fine. shes anxious to get home, thats a good sign. thats how she normally is at places like that.

i couldnt sleep at all today. its gonna be a horrible night.. he better put me with someone that actaully works tonight at work.im not in the mood to deal with a certain something at work

Hope everyone had a good weekend. We had summer weather here all weekend. Even turned the AC on again.

Jedi & Yodi, are growing like weeds. Very different having twins. They love each other, then they are fighting. Can be very jealous too. You have to be sure if one gets something the other does to. They are a handful.

JMouse - I am glad your mom is doing better.

MKY - who are the twins? I missed this news in the posts some where? New editions to the house I believe?

We have had wonderful weather the last few days. We are finally have a break from the rain. I did have to put the ceiling fans back on but no AC for us. It is cool enough at night to keep the house confortable.

Work is busy but good. There are a lot of things going on with new equipment and IT projects so things are moving fast. I okayed a scope of work for a new server project on Tuesday and they started on Thursday - this being a small company there are no corporate offices to go through. One meeting with the owner and General Manager to review the plan and they called them and told them to go ahead.

There was a performance in town that DD13 was involved in this weekend for the McGregor Clan family reunion. I sat in the audiance by an older couple from Chicago and thought of MKY and Bug.

I hope Bug is recovering well.
