Minnie: I am so sorry. My wisdom teeth came in no problem but I know so many people that suffered. I have heard it is terribly painful when they are impacted. The only thing I can say is that at least it happened before you left and not when you were in Florida. Not a huge help, but something. My daughter was on prednisone but also tons of other meds so I really don't know. If you have diabetes, I know it shoots your blood suger levels up and makes eating tough but not sure you are in that boat. Not sure though why you need prednisone for the tooth, they usually use it for the lungs with asthma or other breathing issues. I so hope you feel better, otherwise you may want to consider rescheduling. Last thing you want is to be stuck down there with health issues after spending all that money. Gonna send some pixie dust your way.

Minnie...I am so sorry.
I never had any issues really with prednisone when I took it years ago. It can make you a tad hyper. I've had to take it recently for nasty headaches and it works for the swelling of my head. Didn't have any real issues with it either. I know the kids have taken the other and no issues and DD has a tender stomach.

I hope things work out. I am so sorry

Minnie....Im so sorry about your tooth ....Ive taken Prednisone more times then Id like to remember, and the only side effect it may cause you would be feeling anxious or nervous...
I hope and pray that all goes well for you !!

Things have changed again.... called the surgeon back today as faced kept swelling. They had me come in and did emergency surgery on the impacted tooth as he was very very worried that the infection was getting worse not better

He changed my meds again... back to the amoxi 875 and prednisone and of course pain killers - my stomach doesn't like me much!

We are trying now to rebook the trip - hopefully leaving Monday as he said it should be feeling better by then send pixie dust and prayers my way if you don't mind

horribl horrible time.. between work stress.. and now mom had to go to the hospital the other night.. they found a tumor in her heart... its not cancerous.. but still its serious..

yeah its not been fun and its only been a day. Thursday she goes to the surgeon to figure out why her wound started gushing blood and opened up in the first place.. the scar was about gone as it was. and friday she goes to see the heart doctor. we will probsbly know more then, and when she goes in for surgery..

Okay - I must confess I am not as young as I use to be. Working as many hours as I do at my normal full time job (50-55) and then teaching at the college on the weekends (20-22) is taking it's toll. I am SO tired and the summer has flown by.

I got home from the cruise on July 31st and have not had a day off since. Today was my first day off and I still had to get up early to go with the kids to the parade. They are both in the marching band so I have become a band mom as well.......I need to sleep in tomorrow please!!!

Hopefully I will be around on the board more some time soon. I have two more weekends to teach in September and then I am done for the season.

they should name a date tommorrow for mom's surgery. she already went for one of her tests.. tommorrow morning is her 2nd one.. and they keep her for the results and hopefully setting a date..

Yes, we got home very very late friday night. Spent yesterday doing & Ick. Finally caught up today. We went the whole time with no laundry done. So we used a lot of stuff. Thank goodness for southwest 2 bags each.

JMouse, sorry about your mom. Hang in there. Hope she is doing better.

TP2, Hope you get home safely to a dry and secure house. So nice to see you and your family finally.

EE22, You must be so so so busy. Our your two birds, flown the coup?
