June Gloom?

We are coming from Texas June 2-8 and are hoping for some June Gloom!! Gloom is one thing we don't get in Houston from May-October, nothing but HOT
HOT sunny days (with some too brief tropical downpours!).

My son was born on June 3rd and it was gloomy all day and most of the weekend. Of course I was stuck in the hospital, but I wanted to make sure I noted what kind of weather we were having when he came into the world.

It's basically the same as June Gloom...it starts early in the morning as a heavy fog layer, especially right on the coast, and then it may or may not burn off completely by the afternoon.

I don't think it's anything to be scared of.

I am HOPING for May Grey when we are there. A break from the sun would be a nice thing.
