Crowds are usually manageable for me, no matter the time of year. But I'll never go in June again due to the heat/ humidity. I LOVE the warmth, but we went several years ago and it was truly unbearable. The only good part was that I lost 9 pounds on that trip.
We go a lot of June's during late May/early June. It s hot but with the use of rope drop and fast pass we usually have no issues hitting every ride we want
We go in June every year. Crowds aren't bad at all. In fact summer might be one of the few times, if only time, that is getting less crowded. It is hot though, so we do rope drop/midday break/nighttime touring to help. We stay hydrated, carry cooling towels and personal neck fans.
We went June 5-12 this year. The crowds weren’t bad. It actually wasn’t much worse than our early May trip.
The heat was terrible. We also hit a little heat wave so it was hotter than normal. 109 heat index by 10am. We managed, but I feel like we missed out on some of the little things like walking slowly and taking in the scenery, just enjoying being there. I actually feel like we rushed so much to leave and get out of the heat that it made me feel for weeks like we didn’t even go (hard to explain). We will never go in summer again if I can help it.
We “managed” with midday resort breaks, misting fans, cooling towels and lots of fluids/ice cream/frozen drinks. And I don’t mind heat at all! But it was oppressive.
