We are going to Disneyland at the end of June. We will be there From Tuesday night- Sunday. We wNt to go to the beach for one day. We were thinking of going Wednesday. Saturday it loos like all season passes are blocked. We are worried about crowd levels. Would it be best to go to the parks Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and the beach Saturday or would you go beach on Wednesday and parks Thursday, Friday and Saturday? Sunday will be more of a travel day either way. We would like the beach day to be on either side of the park days because we will probably just stay near the beach for that night. The other nights we would splurge for a Disney hotel- thanks!

I go to Disneyland every year in the last week of June . The parks are heaving, at full capacity. Most wait lines are around 60 minutes for the rides and attractions. Mornings are less crowded, the most crowded times are between 12 pm and 5 pm.

I would do the beach day on Saturday. I was there the last Saturday in June last year and it was hard going.

Thanks so much for your reply! We are pretty worried about crowds and lines....I read on one of those crowd projection websites that Saturday would be less crowded than Thursday....probably because of passes being blocked out? How accurate are those websites?

I don't know, I don't use them. Just because passes are blocked out doesn't mean the crowds are any less. The only good thing about that time of year is that the main park stays open until midnight. The park clears out after the fireworks so the lines are almost none existent between 10 pm and midnight. We usually eat and go to California Adventures between 1 pm and 5 pm as with the heat and crowds it can get unbearable in the main park

Well the reason they block the passes is because they expect large crowds! That said, we will be there, too! If you go early, take a rest in the heat of the day, and use FP, it is manageable. The best thing about going this time of year is that everything is up and running at full swing, so the people are spread out over a lot of rides! I wouldn't worry too much... It'll be crowded but you'll have a great time. Just make sure to start your day early, take a rest, and plan for some fun evening stuff!

Just wanted to add that by late June/early July we have found that there doesn't seem to be as much difference on weekends and weekdays.

The crowds are always bad nowadays so don't let that stop you from going and having a great time. Just try to be there very early in the morning so you can get in a number of rides before the crowds start pouring in.

Yeah the end of June, even with the block out dates on the passes the parks will still be full. That being said I would go to the beach on Wednesday so that you aren't hitting a crowded beach. Then spend a full day at each park on Thursday and Friday. Then Saturday get to Disneyland in the morning and DCA in the afternoon to hit your favorites rides a final time and any shopping done.

Thanks for the replies! I have been so worried about crowds at Disneyland I did not even think about crowds at the beach.....I'm guessing it will be crowded every day at disneyland but the beach may be a little better on a Wednesday. Thanks!
