I am sorry to hear this. I worry about Johnny--he has made it through so many health issues, but perhaps now he will just "give up" like so many do when their spouse dies....so sad.

I'm in shock that she was 73! I had no idea she was that old, she looked good for her age.

Does anyone know what the cause of her death was? We saw her on TV just a few weeks ago, accepting an award for Johnny, and she just kind of seemed "out of it" so we wondered if something was wrong. I wonder what will happen to him now.

She died of a heart attack. She'd had a valve replacement recently, which is why Johnny asked everyone to pray for her at 10 AM last Sunday.

This is so sad. She was such a strong lady. I hope Johnny will be able to survive without her. She seemed to be his rock.

I met Johnny many, many years ago (when I was a kid) at the airport. He was such a nice man. So very polite.

He and his family are in my prayers.
