We're going camping at FW in a tent in June. Is it cool in the camping area? Will we need a fan in the tent to stay cool during the day or evening?
Any tips from anyone that has stayed there?
We're also bringing our dog with us. What should we expect? We know we have to keep the dog in the kennel during the day.

I can't help you with your pet questions, but June can be sweltering. I would highly recomend a fan for your stay. If you rent a cabin they are A/C and have ceiling fans. Expect temps near 80 when you wake up, and hitting the 90's by mid day. I would recomend using early entery at the park of the day, and heading back to FW for a cool dip in the pool after lunch. You can also expect a regular late afternoon thunderstorm/down-pour sometime between 3:30 and 5:00PM which will turn the parks into a steam bath for a while. After dinner you can then return to the parks for catching up on some rides and the parade and fireworks.
