Hi all,

Going back to DLRP in June.

We're getting the Eurostar to Paris itself and staying in the city, as we can't afford the DLRP hotels in June.

We'll be getting a 4 day pass for Sat June 27th, Sun June 28th, Mon June 29th and Tue June 30th.

I've looked at school holidays and the Frenchies and us lot are at school which is good news, but I imagine it'll be a tad busier than when we went in September last year? Am I right?

I think 4 days will be ample to see things at the end of June, but just how busy will it be?

Many thanks!

Excited already!

PS - how reliable are trains back to Gare du Nord on a night at approximately 2230 onwards?

Hi,

I would expect it to be busier than September - although its not English school holidays when you go, it is the start of the Scottish school holidays. The weekend will also be busier than the other days.

But 4 days will be plenty to see and do everything :goodvibes - if there are queues for the rides at the weekend, you'll be able to do them on Monday and Tuesday.

we went in june 2006, wed-sun and it was fine during the week. weekends are bad and very crowded but you'll be ok since you'll be there on mon and tues. just enjoy!!! :goodvibes

We're in the area on:

Friday 27th June
Saturday 28th
Sunday 29th
Monday 30th
Tuesday 1st July
Wednesday 2nd July

Would you recommend we use our four day passes on Friday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and visit Paris on the weekend?

Schools will be already on holiday in Italy then and so i expect it to be crowded.
I know a few people that have planned trips in those days.

It will be reasonably busy I imagine - I think with the development of the parks and the advertising, the parks are going to be much busier in the future than we may have been used to in previous years. You'll still be able to get everything done in that time. I would avoid the weekends if you can.

As for the trains, I've always found them great when travelling back to Bussy-Saint-Georges and Val D'Europe. I wouldn't leave it to much beyond 11pm though - I think they only run until about midnight.
