Back from a quick trip and a good stay At Swan as posted on resort board prior. Got to Swan around 700 PM on A Friday and was a little disappointed the casual pool restaurant (Splash Grill) and pool bar was already closed. No problem walked over to the Cabana pool bar & grill and had very good casual pool side dinner-crab cake sliders were especially good and service very accomodating.

Final night of stay we were tired and decided to stay right at resort and was surprised our 11 year old DD wanted to go to the character dinner at Garden Grove w/Pluto and Goofy. We had no problem essentially walking in (although I had called for a reservation an hour prior). Southern theme buffet was ok, on par with 1900 Park fare character buffet, as a comparison. Prime rib was very good and the character interaction was very leisurely and nice as there was not a big crowd and a rush.

We also had drinks at Kimoonos, coffee and pastries from the Swans coffee and wine bar in the lobby and take out/ice cream from The Fountain at the Dolphin. Found service to be very friendly and efficient. As an added bonus, all casual service locations(not Swan lobby bar) gave a 20% AAA discount off dining.

Next post will be reviews from WDW eateries, including new Yak and Yeti. Any questions I would be happy to answer. thanks

Looking forward to your review of Yak & Yeti, we're trying it for the first time next trip!:goodvibes
