Hey! We got back late last night from our 1st trip staying ON SITE to Disney! We stayed at Pop from 6/25/-7/2. It was GREAT. I got all my requests-60's bldg, ground floor, connecting rooms. We were pretty close to the pool, and the kiddos loved the kiddie pool. We ate at T-Rex cafe our first night. What an AWESOME restaurant. They don't do ddp and it cost me $160 including tax and tip for a family of 7. Not all that bad. I also did Ridemax, and I seriously was able to do SO much! I never waited in any line for more than like 15 minutes! It was crowded, but not as crowded as I remember past June's being. The weather was hot, but for the most part bearable. There was only one day while at Epcot that it felt like the heat was actually burning. We ate at Crystal Palace for dinner our first night, got right in with our ressie, no wait. Awesome awesome food. Saturday we did lunch at Hollywood and Vine. Again, great food, good interaction with the characters, and they kept having singing and dancing parades for the kids. Sunday we did Tusker House lunch at 1pm. Food was good, service OK, but totally worth it for the Nemo Priority Seating tickets! We got front row. And the Nemo show was AMAZING! Monday we ate at Garen Grill. That one was Eh. Food was pretty good, but not the best I've had at Disney. Character interaction was AWESOME though, especially Chip and Dale! Dale kept teasing my teenage son! Tuesday we did breakfast at O'Hana's, and I have officially fallen in love with the Poly. OMG what a gorgeous resort! Awesome breakfast food, and alot of fun for the kids! Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto joined us there. Tuesday night we did 1900 Park Fare. That was my faveorite character meal. The step sisters were histerical! And Cinderella danced with my daughter! It was soooooo sweet! Wednesday was our last day there and we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern at MK. No characters, but my favorite for the food. I LOVE traditional food, and it was soooooo good! I did not have to wait to get seated on any of our dining reservations more than 10 minutes tops. And I really liked Pop! Good housekeeping service, fun and colorful resort, good food selection and my kids LOVED the arcade. I can't wait to start planning next years trip!
