Yeah, about that snow storm! I was in Tampa all week and was surprised when I checked in for my flight and saw United had issued travel waivers for IAD and up. So I checked weather.com, and they said there was a 100% chance of snow for IAD at 10pm. My flight was scheduled to land at 9pm. Could have been bad, but thankfully it didn't materialize for us.
My DS was so sure he was going to have a snow day today...buy was he disappointed

Regarding neighborhoods, since you mention the starbucks by our house, I guess if I said "Chantilly Highlands" you'd know exactly where I live!

Gosh I would if I was one of those normal people that pay attention to signs
But the name sounds familiar...I'm sure when I drive around tomorrow I'll see it

My parents actually bought us one, but it isn't the same. I mean it IS the same, but it loses something not having them make it for us.

Zipline?
I went on the zipline excursion in PV as an observer while my DH and kids when ziplining. Chris, Pamela and I hung out at the restaurant with big fruity drinks and chips and had alot of fun anyway. So if they have an observer option (with drinks) that is the way I am going

My DH and I spent a week there when I was pregnant with Megan. The only part I really loved was the crystal clear water and Stingray City. That was so incredibly cool. We are definitely doing that.
Based on how far away it is from the ship and the short time in the port, we might- gasp- do a DCL excursion.



That was incredibly fun. I would do that again in a heartbeat.
I hate to say it but without my parents slowing us down we might actually make it into the overpriced DVD this time. They were major troopers for getting through that hike. It was a beating, especially with all that gear.

I'll be sailing with my two boys. Nick will be 15 on the cruise & Alex will be 12.
We may drag my brother along

As of now have 8641 and 5050 booked for June 16 and 23rd. That's the best we could snag, as this cruise is filling up quick!
June 16 may switch to something else later though, depending on if there are any "more enticing" itineraries later in 2012. But as of now, that be our plans. (not sure yet if it'll be the 5 of us.... or the 4 of us. We'll have to see if eldest is able to go.. she'll be 18 in Jan 2012! eek......)

I reckon be time to change me banner....

If we zipline again, I can guarantee Linda will next to you, fruity drink in hand. Now if there's a monkey cage, that's a whole other story.

I loved ziplining, and learning first hand exactly why they call it a rainforest. I'd do it again in an instant.
