With the 8:00am opening, do the non- fast pass characters start meeting earlier?

Specifically, I need to know what time Merida will start meeting fans. I read that on 9:00am openings, she would start greeting about 9:15 or so.

The plan had been to rope drop Peter Pan and then do straight to meet Merida. Will that still work?

Was just able to modify my FP for FOP on 6/7 to a later time that worked better for us. On 6/6, 6/7 and 6/10 there is FOP availability starting at 8:15ish P.M.

Saturday June 23 recently changed from 9am-11pm to 8am-Midnight. There are 7DMT fast passes available at the time of this post at 8:10a and 8:25a, same with almost every other ride.

Not sure if any other June dates changed. We had a BOG PPO ADR on 6/23 so kind of bummed but I was able to move my fast passes up so hopefully we're able to take advantage of the longer hours.

Edits: Fixed to say 6/23 instead of 6/22. Sorry!

Website still says 9-12 with 8am EMH for me. I thought you can’t get FP during magic hour? This is during our trip and now I’m worried about our PPO BOG day!

The Friday just went to midnight. The opening is still 9 with an 8am EMH. No FP during EMH. The Saturday went from 9-11 to 8-12. The 24th changed also.

Haha. Sorry again! And tell me about it. I just checked last week and felt like we were all set and then my wife, who hasn't really been checking the calendar as far as I know, noticed it had changed yesterday morning, less than 10 days away! For a trip that requires planning 180+ days in advance they sure love to keep us on our toes.

I too hope no more changes. By Saturday we will be pretty much done, but I was hoping to arrive around 9, use our FastPasses and ride any item we wanted on a whim. With opening at 8 am it will be more crowded for sure.
