JUNE 2015 Discount Watch

we are booked at BLT so of course there was no discount but after hours on hold yesterday afternoon nothing deluxe was available for us. already scooped up:(

Noticing a trend of spending more and upgrading to deluxe with this offer. It is more money out of our pockets not less...guilty here too...who could pass up the Poly when it was nearly the same price as an AOA suite :)

Not sure I'm seeing that price range. The poly was coming up nearly $1500 more than AOA for me.

Thanks! I did call back and got a CM that knew what was going on. I had standard booked at POR. I had to upgrade to Royal standard but still saved $200 over Easter week. It's not much of a savings but better than nothing.
Good! Glad you called back.

I almost did the same thing, and was pricing out Deluxe resorts. :rotfl:
But I stuck to my original choice, even though I only save $250.

We were booked at POR for June 7-14. Called and the discount does not apply to regular rooms. So we switched to Caribbean Beach and saved $400.

We're staying at AoA June 14-21 so this discount only covered 2 nights of our stay but it saved us $180 already...and was available on a Nemo suite!!! When we went in 2013, we had to switch from Nemo to Lion King because there were no Nemo Suites available at the discount rate. Now I'm hoping that when the discounts for the rest of June come out that we're *still* able to stay in a Nemo suite -- though we'd be happy in a LK suite again.

And based on some of the previous posts, I'm really glad my travel agent took care of getting the discount applied to our reservation. She had everything taken care of before I even rolled out of bed that morning. I would not have been happy sitting on hold for over an hour. :)

I meant to post this on the 29th but was too busy packing for our quick trip to Disney for NYE! I called on the 29th and after only 20 minutes on hold was able to apply the discount for our June trip at All-Star Sports. We ended up saving about $300 so we are considering either putting it toward the dining plan or just using it to pay for both our flights. So exciting! This is the first time I've ever used a discount.

After booking & cancelling too many trips since the housing crash of 2010 (dh is a banker) I have finally saved enough for another one of our girls trips!:cool1::cool1::cool1: I don't have to explain to you all how unbelievably excited I am! My oldest dd will be 21 on June 30th. We're booked at POP June 26-July 4. This trip is special in so many ways - she'll be 21, it's her last summer "home" before graduating from college & being on her own. My dh isn't a fan so the girls & I have been going on our own since 2005! - I would love love love a late June discount.....

We called and upgraded from AOA room to AKL for the same price. So excited!

Does anyone know if this includes check-ins at the end of this offer or do you have to be staying there within the exact time frame....we are planning a june 13th check in.

I'm in the same boat, check in on 13-19 and got room discount on only first 3 nights (13-15), the last 3 nights are regular price. It's better than nothing, but hoping something comes out to cover it all!

The boat's getting a little crowded! ;) We're booked at the Wilderness Lodge, June 13-20th. We had the spring rate, then changed to the ap rate when it was extended, but like others, just for the first 3 nights.

I'm wondering if discounts do come out, if we're going to end up having to book 2 reservations- keeping this one for the first 3 nights and then book at the new discount for the remaining. That's going to be a bit confusing since we have 2 rooms booked, but we'll do what we have to. The discount is saving us over $150 a night, so well worth it!!

then changed to the ap rate when it was extended

Do you mean extended past June 15? Or do you mean extended from the previous date range for the offer?

I don't have an AP but depending on the room discount might be cheaper for me to do it this year (staying 10 days onsite). It is hard finding info on the current AP room discount without having one.

I meant extended from the previous offer- good thru the 15th was the latest AP rate I got. It's really not much better than the spring offer. We got an additional $20 off for both rooms for the first 3 days. . Not much, but we that's a round of Mickey Bars for everyone! lol It's about a 37% discount total though and that's not bad!

Yes, unless you have an ap, it is difficult to find rates without calling.
