June 2015 - couple of questions

Looking to go 3rd week of June next year for 4 nights 5 days and stay in the HNY.

1) based on last year parks hours the Disneyland Parc should be open until 2300 hrs every day. Does this mean we should expect it to be busy? As far as we can see there are no french school holidays at this time so we were surprised to see such long hours last year. Does the better weather increase the crowd levels?

2) Does anyone know when the refurbishment of the HNY will start? Ive read that they plan to shut the hotel entirely when they refurbish it so I'm presuming if were allowed to book it for the dates we want it means it will be open. If they do decide to start the refurb after we've booked I presume they will they just move us to another hotel . Does anyone have experience of this?

not when you want to go, if you go midweek you'll be fine and the parks won't be really busy. The reason the main park closes at 11pm in June is because Dreams needs full dark to be at its most effective, and June contains the longest day of the year . June has had 11pm close for 2 years now, since Dreams was brought to DLP.

Thanks DLPdaft. I did wonder if the longer hours were down to dreams. I suppose the next question has to be have they confirmed Dreams for 2015 yet?

Dreams has been confirmed until sept 2015, were looking at june 30th as kids get holidays then and hopeing to fly on to majorca or ibiza from cdg after : )

Hotel New York won't be under refurb until the end of next year.

Disappointing news tonight. I rang Avios to book out trip to find out that the points required for all the hotels have gone up by around 20,000 and we don't have enough for any of the hotels with pools (which was a requirement for a trip in June). So at the moment it looks like the trip is off
