We are heading to DL next summer, the first week of June. Is there a common time when tickets are reduced in price? When would you suggest I book hotel rooms (staying off site) and purchase our 3-day park hopper passes?

We have already booked our room for July 2013. You can always cancel or change it if the price goes down. For the tickets, I am putting money on a Disney Gift Card, and buy when the time gets closer. Last time we went in the summer, I purchased one park hopper ticket a month for October, November, January, and February for a family of 4. That way, the expense doesn't hit you all at once. Good luck!
