June 2013 Free Dining Likelyhood

We have already booked our Disney vacation through AAA for June 4-13 and we are staying at POP Century resort. I wanted to get the input of the likelyhood of getting a free dining discount for that time frame we are staying at????

We were there June 2-10 this year and no free dining ever came down for our dates, unfortunately. In fact, the free dining dates were not even close. We did get a room discount, however.

I would not hold my breath for those dates. It was very crowded and I am sure they had no problem filling rooms with the paltry room discount they offered. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

About 0% chance. They don't really do free dining dates in April, May, June or July. Here are the previous free dining dates and release dates that I coped from the free dining guidelines thread:

We had free dining for our trip this past May 29- June 8 but it was with a pin code.
My fingers are crossed that we will get one for same dates in 2013!!!

I saw a small snippit yesterday on another thread about it being part of a bounceback free dining offer but no one could ever confirm it.

We haven't been in the summer months for years, but next year we wanted to check out the Star Wars weekend so looks like we're seeking discounts for June too.

So when did the pin code for free dining come out last year for June? Two of my sisters and I and our kids are going June 5-12, 2013 and would really love free dining as we have 9 people in our group.

Looking back through my notes from last year, it looks like we received the free dining pin for June the last part of January. I am still hoping that it will come out this year, but it appears it is going to be later. Perhaps the first of March will bring a new set of pin codes.

I still hope the free dining does come out but we did end up getting 30%off our room rates. We are going for 10 days for our honeymoon

I believe there was FD last year without a pin for 1st week of June as long as your arrival date was on or before June 2nd. But that was the 1st time I had ever seen FD for that time frame. Seems any discounts are less common this year.

No, that's not correct. In 9 years of free dining offers there has been 1 time they offered a free dining discount in the May/June time frame and that was in 2010. It was May 27 - June 2. It never happened before or since and I definitely would not plan on it this year either. The August/September free dining dates should be released in the next couple of weeks though.
