We are planning to visit CA and Disneyland in June of 2012. Is there any way possible at this point to predict when Carsland will be completed?

What is Carsland? And is it set to be in Disneyland or DCA? Sounds exciting if it is a new Lightning McQueen adventure!

What I've heard, is that they are planning on having it open for summer 2012. So I would assume that it would be opening right around June of next year.

No.

There is a way however to predict Disney's priorities. And that will be to have Cars Land open by June and the summer season. I would be highly surprised if it was not.

Thanks for the input! I am wanting to book hotels soon, but I just can't decide on a "safe" time to go. Ideally, we'd go as soon as the kids get out of school, which will be really early this year - May 24th. But maybe mid-June or even August is better?

We are tentatively planning a June 2012 trip also. I think it would be so awesome if we were able to enjoy the new Carsland as it will be awhile before we are able to return after that trip. BUT, we haven't been since 2008 so there is alot of new stuff for us to see if Carsland isn't open yet. But to be so close and not be able to enjoy Carsland......we might change our dates as we get closer to June.... who knows. We'll just have to wait and see!
