June 2012 code watch?

Count us in for June too! We got a free dining pin last year and are hoping for something great again.We usually go the last week of June, but went over the 4th last year. This year we are planning for June again.

Add us to the list of those planning to head down at the very beginning of June (June 1-10). We'd always been wary of June (we usually go in September or October when there aren't the summer crowds), but we were able to spend one day at Magic Kingdom last June (on June 2) and it was GREAT! Got there at rope drop and stayed until 1 am. Crowds were low, weather was nice, and we were able to do everything we wanted, some things two or three times. We had front row seats with no one around us for the electrical parade. Loved it! We're booked at POR - first time at this resort, but since we now have 5 in our family, it's the most affordable option on site. We've stayed at POFQ the last few years...will we notice much of a difference?

We are also hoping for the end of May/first of June. This year we stayed May 31-June 6with the free dining, and it was wonderful! We are hoping for the same this year.

I'm joining also! We just came back from a week in the world with 3 kids, MIL, and a group of friends! This time it'll be just DH and I going to celebrate 7 days alone for our 10 year anniversary! Our anniversary is June 15 (also my birthday) but I'm thinking we should go June 2-9 instead of the 9-16. ANyone know if there is a huge difference in crowds between these 2 weeks?

Crowds build the later in June you go, but there won't be a huge difference between those 2 weeks. IF they have the free dining at that time like they did last year, you might be better off planning for the first week. That's why we chose the dates we did, just in case...

We really like going in June as soon as school lets put. However, we can only go next year if there is a good discount PIN or free dining.

We're planning a trip for June 3-8, 2012. This will be the first time we've ever been to Disney in June, we usually go in October; we just went October 1-7 this year & the parks were pretty packed. Will the crowds be a lot different the beginning part of June?

We've gone in June twice, and in my experience, as long as you are gone by the 15th of June crowds aren't bad. It's been years since my last June trip, but I remember that our longest wait was 30 minutes and that was for Splash Mountain without a fastpass. Every day that went by got a little bit more crowded. We're going the 4th through the 12th next June, and I expect the crowds to be completely manageable. It is HOT however.

For those of you that have gone in June before, have you ever gotten a public free dining perk or really good public discount code?

Due to my DH's job we can only go after June 10 through August 10 now. I am guessing June is less crowd heavy and perhaps less hot/humid. I am really hoping for June!

We have been to WDW twice before but it was September/October, never in the summer months. All I know is we have not been there since 2008 and we NEED to come back ASAP! I just need it to be somewhat budget friendly! TIA!

Our free dining was a public discount, but you had to arrive by June 2. I do remember they ended up coming out with Room discounts much later that ended up being pretty close (not quite as good) to the same discount that we had with the free dining.

I'm really hoping for a PIN this year.

We are hoping to go in early June - probably around the 10th for 10 days. If we don't get a good pin or deal then we have to stay off-site. I am very worried about the heat and crowds too but can't go any other time due to work.

We want to go June 9 to June 17. My son's bday is the 16th. I have never gone in June before and am only picking that time because of school and his birthday. I would really love a pin. I have never done the dining plan and I wouldn't mind the free dining but for us I think the pin is the better deal.

It is a code specific to your household. Disney emails them out (and occasionally snail mail). Registering at the website usually helps, but no one know for sure how exactly the lucky ones are chosen.

To my knowledge, there are no pin code offers yet for summer 2012.
