We gave my son's family a trip in June....My 18 month old granddaughter will be seeing Mickey for the first time...It should be a lot of fun watching her face.

Changing a little of our trip. My cousin just came home from Afghanistan and he's never been to Disney so we're taking him with us. We won't be doing Club Level on our last night so we're just switching to a 2BR Standard view in AKV.

Add us to the list please. We're going May 29 to June 5. We may add a couple days more if DH doesn't get a job. We're staying at All Star Movies at DD7 request since she wants to see the Toy Story characters larger than life. I never thought I'd spend my 10th anniversary trip at All Stars (I wanted Poly) but the light of our life is DD and if she's happy we all are. Aren't anniversaries a celebration of family?

rockydek, I added you to our list! It is so exciting to see a child's face the first time he/she sees Mickey. My son was so excited and we loved the pictures we were able to get with him and Mickey. My daughter had to warm up to the characters but she was excited by the end of the trip to see all the characters and would run up to them (sometimes trying to cut in front of others- she has no concept of lines). Sounds like your trip is going to be a lot of fun.

latexscooter, I would forfeit Poly if it meant seeing my kids happy. I figure, one day when they are away in college, we are going without them. he he!



I am so glad our group is growing. Let's keep the excitement building. Nothing is more fun than others helping you wait out the time until your next Disney trip!

No problem. This week, I have been quick. I am home for winter break (I'm a teacher) so I have some extra time to play around which is really fun. It was nice reaching 180 days over winter break so I could make all my plans and ADRs. Last year I did it from school before the kids got there and I was so rushed, I made a few mistakes. lol. School starts tomorrow again so it's going to be kind of crazy getting back into the swing of things this week.

Wasn't too bad redoing the ADR's because everything is pretty much still open. I had to look at the park recommendations and since we have a pregnant woman coming with us (she'll be 27 weeks at that point), I tried to put some rest time in for her.

Isn't this the "official" thread? I didn't see another one for June. If anything we might be able to start a new one for June ADR's to make it easier.

Hello all! I am joining you here in this June thread. I had a Spring Break trip planned out (ADR's and all) and had to cancel. Yes, there were tears. It has been 10 years since our last trip to the World. It was going to be an awesome trip but hubby did not think the finances were going to be a go ( extra expenses lately) for March so I pushed it back to June as soon as school gets out. We will be there June 13-20. I have waited 10 years...what's another couple of months! We will be either staying at the CBR or renting points for a studio at AKL...really want AKL as that is where we stayed 10 yrs ago...right after it opened. So happy planning to all!

Welcome, txtara. I am sorry to hear you had to push back your trip, but happy you are here awaiting your trip with us!

Since you are doing all the work, I would say to do what makes everything easiest for you. You could put a link in your signature to the post where the ADR's and roll call are if you want to keep this thread or just start the "Official June 2011" thread.

I think we are fine here. That way nobody has to be confused by moving. So.. I will just link the roll call and ADRs. Great suggestion! Thanks for thinking of it. I'm back at school today and since I have a planning period, I just thought I would stop by, but now must get back to work. I wuold rather be checking the DIS.

That stinks that you had to cancel your initial trip, but it's not too much more of a wait! You have to keep us updated on where you're staying
